For the Love of Scarflettes
Before you know it the chilly winds of autumn are gonna be here and it will be time to dig out all those hats and scarves. For that reason I'm getting started with some new items in my shop. This is my latest scarflette.
I have often had folks tell me they prefer scarflettes to scarves because they are more comfortable to leave on through the day. Personally I work in a chilly office, whether it is summer or winter, and I too like to keep a scarflette or scarf on throughout the day.
This one I knit using a unique herringbone stitch and my own hand spun yarn. The multicolor yarn is a mix of silk and wool, and the orange is Targhee wool. All is hand dyed. I also love the accent from the wooden buttons.
What do you think? Do you like scarflettes?

ReplyDeleteThat is such a great idea.. I have never owned a scarflettes, but you have my mind thinking I need one! I love fall:)
ReplyDeleteLovely lovely orange.
ReplyDeleteI like scarflettes BUT I really prefer a scarf. I'm one of those people that has a scarf for almost every fall/winter outfit I own (well, being a knitter didn't help that addiction at all). However, I know people who do not like scarves, so scarflettes are perfect for them.
And I love the color of this one!
