My Blue Caplet

I had found this caplet pattern on Ravelry awhile and had considered making it for some Christmas gifts.

One Friday, after finding the pattern, I thought, "Hmmm, I had better try to make this once before I try to make it for other people!" Really this was an excuse to buy yarn at the newest little place here in town.

We don't have a yarn shop, but some ladies recently set up a booth of yarn and fiber at our local antique store - just fabulous. So I went there an browsed a bit to find this lovely deep aqua colored Peruvian Highland wool with flecks of purple.

I started knitting that Friday and was done sometime over the weekend sin problema. What do you think? I like it very much! And I just cast on one for Christmas.

  1. I just love the color! So deep and lovely! Reminds me of some hydrangeas I saw the other day. Beautiful work :)
